MacLeod now lives in modern day America but the story is explained with flashbacks that include the colourful Ramirez ( Sean Connery ) who tutored MacLeod in the ways of fighting and taught him about the enlightenment. An excellent fantasy adventure that was a massive box office smash. As part of the deal Draco insists that the boy must become a fair and compassionate king when the time comes, but when he grows up he is a cruel and evil despot and Bowen believes that Draco has betrayed them.
